minutes used orange

What is the use of having a minutes used option when they are a week behind
in the totals? I just checked my web page and 611 and the totals are as of
March fifth.

I have never had the problem of my minutes being a week behind. Mine have been a little behind before but never by that much. No carrier is completely up to date. In fact Cingular even lists that as one of the limitations to using their star services or 611.

The reason for a delay can vary. Somtimes you may have been using another carriers tower, and Cingular doesn't know that you were using minutes right away.

Or maybe orange is worse than blue.

That's a matter of personal opinion. I'm just going to stick to the facts.

All systems have their problems. Verizon Wireless doesn't always bill
usage from another part of *its own* system in the same month the usage
occurred.

An no matter what, if you're roaming (using another system other than
your IMMEDIATE home area, which is different from applying roaming
"charges"), it will not show up immediately because Roaming System would
have to *immediately* send Home System your usage (even though they may
both be owned and operated by the same company.) Theoretically it's
possible, but you'd have to have every compatible system speak with
every other compatible system accross the country, it would be too
expensive, probably somewhat unreliable because it would be prone to
crashed, and not worth the effort. For example, Verizon's AMPS would
have to immediately alert Cingular if a Cingular customer is roaming on
its system, and vice versa. I

Re: minutes used orange

Well the minutes showed on verizons website are usually shown within a few
hours of the call,at least this is the case when I look at my number. And I
have never had in 2 years with verizon mins showing up as "used " in the
previous month, Always from the 13th to the 13th.
